Job Description
Department: Department of Nursing Services (DNS)
Status: Part TIme 48 hours ppp 1800--0630
Shift: Nights
Bonner General Health is a Critical Access Hospital with inpatient departments including Surgical Services, Obstetrics, Medical-Surgical, Intensive Care, Emergency and multitude of outpatients clinics and services. Compared to other Critical Access facilities, we are quite busy! Annually we have approximately 10,000 emergency visits, 300 births, 2000 surgical procedures and 1500 in-patient admissions.
The Department of Nursing Services (DNS) Hospital Supervisor role is a fast-paced dynamic position. The person who holds the role is integral to hospital leadership and works in the absence of management to facilitate the operations of the hospital during the night on weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate has the technical nursing experience and skill set to maintain the functionality of the hospital. We are looking for autonomous individuals who are great decision makers and can function and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Experience: Recent acute care experience required, leadership experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications: Current Idaho RN license; ACLS, PALS obtained within 3 months; Procedural Sedation, NRP and TNCC preferred
