The Production Manager is responsible for the completion and collection of all roof jobs. The PM is also responsible for assigning roof replacement jobs to appropriate crews and Field Project Foremen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist w/ RECON.
Arrive at office before production staff & crews.
Plan/prepare for property protection & material delivery.
Responsible for the completion and collection of all roof jobs in accordance with Bone Dry Production processes.
Enforce safety, job-site marketing (signs, flag, caution tape, vehicles are organized on jobsites, etc.), and sanitation regulations, includes 1 safety audit per project per day.
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production.
Responsible for meeting eon-site at time of roof set up in all markets where only 1 roof is in progress per day.
All PM’s with other trade responsibilities: inspection of those trades are expected as well.
Bi-weekly truck inspections / ensure truck stocked with necessary inventory for production I.e.: step flashing, caulking, paint, boots, etc.
Responsible for ensuring all team members are maintaining clean warehouse and grounds.
Confer with other divisions to coordinate operations and activities within.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Complete RECON inspections for all scheduled roofs prior to the roof install.
Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect malfunctions.
Document additional pay (work not in job description - Day Rate) and submit to GM for approval.
Oversee that all foremen turn in completed job folders with tickets, invoices, and, photos within 24 hours of job completion.
Oversee picking up permits for all applicable jobs.
Communicate with customer service when jobs are rescheduled due to weather so they are aware of new schedule date to ensure scheduling can be adjusted for jobs with multiple trades.
Ensure text strings are started and updated regularly throughout project.
Produce weekly summary of jobs for production meeting each week with GM, SM and Customer Service.
Organize production rotation for Saturday jobs.
Training with foremen and crews for items that have become common “call back” items.
Enforce policy that all subcontractors are wearing Bone Dry Roofing apparel while on job sites.
Run weekly subcontractor payroll reports and verify against sub pay report.
Ensure all subcontractors are following the safety guidelines as set out by safety manager.
Yearly written evaluations of all foremen.
Final inspections on all roofs.
Oversee collection of payment.
Document collection % for all foremen to track tier pay for super.
Will be required to use all types of ladders
Will be required to get on all types roofs to inspect the area
