Entry Level Sales and Marketing Agent - Logistics

Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients—a Global Logistics Company—is seeking a Sales Specialist. This position Is Salaried at $40,000-55,000 based on experience, exempt, and not remote.

Summary:

Handling new leads, quotes, client visits, special project support

Primary Duties:

· Responsible for identifying and generating new target account sales leads

· Responsible for providing the sales team members with competitive market information

· Responsible for researching existing and new target accounts

· Develop database and reports to support industry sales initiatives

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:

· B.A./B.S. Degree or equivalent or related industry experience desirable

· Familiar with logistics industry and international business concepts

· Excellent analytical skill – ability to provide sound research and back-up

· Ability to multiple-task and manage multiple assignments

· Detailed oriented, ability to provide accurate and timely sales information

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, etc.

· Strong teamwork skills and inclination

· Good communications skill – listening, providing and receiving feedback

· Process improvement

· Patience – ability to deal with complex processes that may involve multiple levels of approval

· Interest in sales

· 1-2 years freight forwarding or logistics industry experience desirable
