ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as Assistant Property Manager for a rapidly growing and dynamic property management organization. This is an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a passionate team of A players, committed to Bonaventure’s Core Values. This position reports to the Property Manager.
Participate in employee development through communicating clear standards and expectations, with employee growth and development in mind.
Leverage all Bonaventure systems and training for teams to ensure success.
Maintain high occupancy level through support of leasing, marketing strategies, and ensuring team member performance.
Audit and prepare all documentation throughout the prospects and residents life cycle.
Oversite of leasing team in effectively approving prospective residents and verifying applications.
Provide support to Property Manager and maintenance team in all matters inclusive of ongoing maintenance of property.
Strive to provide exceptional customer service for all residents and prospects.
Motivate and encourage the team members as directed by the Property Manager
Demonstrate the Core Values through communication, understanding Company goals, policies, and procedures.
Up to date knowledge of prospect and resident demographics as well as the competitive market rents and trends.
Meeting and exceeding all leasing goals for yourself and your team.
Who You Are:
2 or more years of multi-family experience
Above average ability to communicate with clients and with co-workers both verbally and in writing
Basic personal computer skills and ability to learn specialized software.
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required.
Ability to learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to Federal and Local Fair Housing Laws.
Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening.
National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation preferred
Marketing experience leveraging multiple mediums, including social networking
