The Home Health Aide provides personal care, comfort measures, and environmental services in a patient's home as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), Occupational Therapist(OT), or Physical Therapist (PT) to achieve the goals and objectives of a medically directed plan of care.
1. High School graduate or G.E.D.
2. Successful completion of a nursing assistant program as required to meet the standards of the Virginia State Health Department for Home Health Aides.
3. CPR certification.
4. One year (minimum) experience in a health care setting.
5. Demonstrates the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
