To learn more about the company's mission and see the entire line of current products, visit WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The Marketing Director, Farms will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic growth plan for our new Wunderoots brand, along with our expanding fresh produce business. Innovation will be a key component to this role, and the position will sit within the Bolthouse Farms Innovation Team and report to the Senior Director, Innovation. Bolthouse Farms Marketing is based in the Los Angeles area, and the nature of this position will require frequent travel to our head office in Bakersfield, CA (once safe).

Due to pandemic circumstances, this role will be remote for at least the next 6-12 months. JOB DUTIES & CAPABILITIES: The job requirements include, but are not limited to the following: Strategic Thinking * Develop a vision and long-term strategy for an emerging portfolio of products and align the organization; assess the big picture landscape, consider various scenarios to develop a clear vision for where to take the portfolio or a particular project Business Analytics * Effectively apply business analytics across a broad scope of complex issues and opportunities Consumer Insights * Exhibit a deep understanding of the target consumer and consistently utilize a consumer-lens in order to make recommendations and decisions * Understand and guide team on consumer insight development and application of insights to business * Confidently utilize consumer-lens while presenting to leadership team or broader organization Innovation * Continually monitor competitive landscape and Identify additional growth opportunities for the portfolio * Develop a new product pipeline vision and strategy, and align organization to it Cross-Functional Collaboration * Develops strong, trustworthy relationships with cross-functional partners outside of marketing * Effectively removes barriers, gains alignment to and manages priorities cross-functionally * Considers multiple POVs and has the ability to evaluate, challenge and promote debate of key project and business issues to optimize solutions Project Management * Lead large cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines * Manage multiple projects and people at one time * Know when/how to elevate issues to senior levels in order to drive for decision-making on key projects People Leadership * Coach and mentor direct reports in functional and leadership competency development * Focus on big picture, prioritizes work and minimizes extraneous work for team WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred * 10 years of brand management experience in food CPG, fresh businesses preferred * 5+ years' experience leading, commercializing and launching consumer innovation * A deep understanding of how to read, interpret and build models from syndicated data such as IRI or Nielsen * Strong project management skills and attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal communication and team working skills * Experience working with an (internal) agency to develop marketing plans * Previous experience leading and working on cross-functional teams * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment * Proven, reliable work history Additional Required Qualifications: YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF... * You're a senior manager or director with experience gained at both large & entrepreneurial companies * You have strong background in Innovation and are looking to drive growth in new platforms * You're highly skilled at being agile and can pivot priorities, strategies, and initiatives, on a dime * You're a creative problem solver who is an expert at rolling up your sleeves and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * You are a strong communicator and collaborator with an ability to inspire and influence others, either as the leader or as a member of the team. * You are a natural self-starter, comfortable taking the lead with limited resources while still achieving strong results. * You are collaborative with a "can do attitude" WHAT WE OFFER Our rich benefits packages are designed to support the health and well-being of both our eligible co-workers and their families. * Medical * Dental * Vision * Group Life and AD&D * Voluntary Life and AD&D * Group Short-Term Disability * Group Long-Term Disability * Flexible Spending Accounts * Employee Assistance Program * 401(k) * Paid Time Off EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culturally diverse organization.
