Job Description

Established CPA firm is seeking to fill the position of Bookkeeper Office Manager to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive firm success. The office administrator ....

  • Provides accountants & CPA's with, email and standard mail support.
  • Distributes client returns and financial statements.
  • Prepares reviews, edits and maintains financial statements templates.
  • Assist with maintenance of client's bookkeeping.
  • Coordinates document management.
  • Communicates and resolves client inquiries.
  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
  • Generates and maintains client due date tracking reports.
  • Plan and schedule appointments and events.
  • Communicates with clients and accountants regarding work schedules.
  • Handles incoming calls and greets and assist onsite guests.
  • Process client billing.
  • Posts cash receipts.
  • Executes accounts payable and accounts receivable for the firm.
  • Orders office supplies and communicates with outside vendors.
  • Maintain the condition of the office and ensure all common areas are stocked, clean and organized
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects internal and client-related.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred or commensurate experience relevant to position responsibilities.
  • Experience in a CPA firm and proficiency with Practice CS software is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpretation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus.
  • Highly organized and motivated to efficiently facilitate work flow in a small team environment.
  • Excellent spelling skills.
  • Self-starter.
