Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Level Field Service Representative Product Line Manager to provide leadership, strategic planning and technical guidance for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) product line support team. 

This position has options of work location to include virtual work.

This person will be responsible for employees at locations geographically dispersed across the globe.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provides leadership, strategic planning and technical guidance for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) product line support teams.
Directs, plans, integrates and oversees the cost and schedule performance.
Works cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Leads improvements through the application of process improvement methods to enhance performance, productivity and enable future growth
Develops and integrates support approach and plans for the execution of sustainment programs with profit and loss responsibility or major support business/program element.
Establishes program budgets, business and communication plans.
Integrates and evaluates support elements to develop program proposals.
Develops performance metrics and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules.
Manages Field Service Representative Managers of employees performing technical or specialist activities that are deployed at remote base locations, including customer or supplier facilities.
Develops and executes customer support strategies and tactics to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage, and foster business growth.
Directs post-sale coordination and integration of technical and administrative support activities including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, test, repair, engineering change improvements and preventive maintenance to be performed at the customer's site.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures.
Acquires and leverage resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Creates, maintains and advances relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops, mentors and motivates employees.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Minimum ten (10) years aerospace technical management experience providing support for military or civilian organizations.
Familiar with the Military Forms, Directives, and Instructions.
Familiar with contract clauses, Contractual Requirements Data List (CDRL), and Statement of Work.
25 - 50% travel.
Responsible for teams located across the US and at International Locations.

At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.




PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
10 or more years of experience in providing aerospace flight line and back shop maintenance support to US military units at US bases and at deployed international locations.
Knowledge of maintenance military work instructions, technical manuals, certifications, airworthiness and quality standards.
Maintenance experience across multiple platforms such as rotorcraft, airlift, fighter, tanker and unmanned systems is a plus
Understanding of military aircraft/equipment scheduling, monitoring, tooling, inspection processes, and documentation.
Experience as a Boeing Control Account Manager (CAM).
Experience in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for field maintenance support and responding to government Request for Information (RFI) on maintenance service capabilities
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite computer software.
Proficient in the use of Earned Value Management (EVM) system.
Familiarity with leading and managing large virtual teams.


TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
