About the Job
Blueprint Skilled Services is currently hiring experienced Commercial Plumbers, both Apprentice & Journeymen, with at least 2 years of experience for jobs in a commercial construction environment. This could be a long-term project for those who qualify and could lead to a Temp to Perm situation for the right person.
Blueprint Skilled Services is currently hiring experienced Commercial Plumbers, both Apprentice & Journeymen, with at least 2 years of experience for jobs in a commercial construction environment. This could be a long-term project for those who qualify and could lead to a Temp to Perm situation for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves using hand and power tools.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Commercial Plumbing experience in a Commercial Construction environment.
- Basic hand tools to complete tasks.
- Reliable transportation.
- Good communication skills.
