Human Resources Generalist

We're looking for a Human Resources Generalist, who is energetic, out-going, highly organized, and can do great work helping a fast-paced, team of techies. This individual must be willing to wear multiple hats as you would be serving as our primary HR lead and back-up to our Office Administrator. One day you could be enrolling a colleague in benefits, the next day processing payroll and the next day ordering the team lunch. There is no task too small in this role. What You Will Be Doing

  • Nurture a positive working environment company-wide
  • Serve as the main point of contact to colleagues for all employment-related issues, including benefits administration, company policies, discipline, hiring, termination, grievances, and other issues
  • Ensure legal compliance as it relates to human resource management
  • Manage the recruitment process, including posting open positions on job boards, reviewing resumes and coordinating phone and in-person interviews with the hiring manager and interview team
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment and onboarding
  • Process bi-monthly payroll
  • Coordinate annual benefits enrollment with Controller and COO
  • Ensure personnel files are current
  • Ensure colleague handbook remains current
  • Coordinate all employment status changes and subsequent system updates
  • Compile industry research and data regarding compensation metrics
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal process, including coordinating annual colleague performance reviews with team/department manager
  • Ensure our company is following proper human resource methods, policies, and principles

Must Haves

  • Coordinate annual benefits enrollment with Controller and COO
  • Ensure personnel files are current
  • Maintain a file with all colleagues’ PTO so it remains current
  • Ensure colleague handbook remains current
  • Coordinate all employment status changes and subsequent system updates
  • Maintain and keep process documentation current
  • Compile industry research and data regarding compensation metrics
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal process, including coordinating annual colleague performance reviews with team/department manager
  • Set up additional ADP modules for performance reviews and onboarding processes
  • Ensure the company is following proper human resource methods, policies, and principles and look for and share ways to improve processes
  • Manage colleague parking space process

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with ADP or related payroll system a plus
  • Experience working at in an agency environment
