Job Description
POSITION:  Fighter Squadron Standardization & Evaluation Support (STAN/EVAL)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret
LOCATION:   Langley AFB, Virginia

BlueForce, Inc. is seeking to hire Fighter Squadron Standardization & Evaluation Support (STAN/EVAL) to support the USAF Air Combat Command (ACC) and the Combat Air Forces (CAF) with Fighter Squadron Support at Langley AFB, Virginia.
 
The focus of work for the Fighter Squadron Standardization & Evaluation Support (STAN/EVAL) personnel are the CAF FS and non-flying additional duties traditionally accomplished by Pilots and Weapons System Officers (WSOs).
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Minimum (2) two years of experience working in a squadron (CAF FS/USAFWC/ASOS), group or wing STAN/EVAL program OR a minimum of (5) years of experience working in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing STAN/EVAL program
  • Minimum (2) two years of experience working with PEX
  • Minimum (2) two years of experience working with Microsoft Suite
  • Must have a valid US Secret security clearance prior to commencement of work.
  • In the event of US Military service, must have an honorable discharge.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Office Communicator, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (or qualified exemption for disability or religious belief, practice, or observance) 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials.
  • Update data in PEX, GTIMS, or future Government-mandated equivalent systems, and locally developed computer database systems.
  • Interface with HARM personnel to update the ARMS (or future Government-mandated equivalent systems).
  • Coordinate with the training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per the applicable AFIs/AFMANs, associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone, or in person.
  • Perform testing for administrator duties/function for the unit.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering into the first month of evaluation eligibility period.
  • Interpret AFIs/AFMANs and provide guidance to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel.
  • Support Stan/Eval Government-assigned Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) personnel with EFB Program.
  • Generate the following deliverables:
    • Evaluation and testing status and trend data reports.
    • AF Form 8, Certificate of Aircrew Qualification.
    • Provide data to the OG/OGV for the standardization evaluation board (SEB) 6-month report.
