Job Description: Job Title: Procurement Controller Location: Haggerty Road, Novi Michigan The objective of the Position: Responsible for controlling, reporting, documenting, and creating supply chain and procurement metrics for the supply chain organization. Essential Accountabilities: the position incumbent ensures that; · Create, monitor, and develop reporting templates and dashboards for colleagues and the executive leadership team within the North American region. · Monitor and document processes and procedures within the Document Management System for Supply Chain function, updating and improving documentation as needed. · Lead Cost Modeling & Analytics functions including VA/VE for procurement · Work collaboratively with the Procurement Director to drive savings and overall departmental improvement projects. · Work cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy in reporting. · Investigate research and support the resolution of discrepancies in defined key performance indicators. · Define and improve templates and reporting structure. · Maintain MaCo initiatives, reports for commodities. · Actively use the tools, MaCo, SLM, Softcon, and SAP. · Provide monthly reports as directed. Secondary Accountabilities: the position incumbent ensures that; · Conduct all business-related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. · Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and other HSE-related requirements. · Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA policies related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for ways to improve and promote quality. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience. · Minimum of five years of purchasing reporting and controlling experience. · Minimum three to five years’ experience in Cost Analysis and Supplier Negotiations (preferred) · To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office. · Experience with SAP (procurement modules). · Ability to travel domestically by car or plane. Technical Expertise: · Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence. · Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures. · Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions. · Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability. · Project Management- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities. · Strives to continuously improve expertise.
