Bloom Farms is currently hiring an experienced Account Manager for our new CBD product line. This position is responsible for the inside and outside sales for Bloom Farms CBD product line, executing sales activities across New York and key retail markets across the US. The Account Manager also acts as a liaison between our existing THC sales by channeling leads and opening accounts originating from our dispensary relationships. The CBD Account Manager provides ongoing support for the CBD products to including education and brand and company ethos.

The CBD Account Manager will work with the Sales Managers and CBD team members to set and meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals (and measurable KPI’s) by managing and expanding current business, generating leads for new business, and opening new accounts. 

Additional Account Manager responsibilities include product and industry training, product delivery/drop-off on occasion, educating retail on products, and maintaining company compliance via best practices, software and adherence to company processes and policies. 

Job Expectations: 

  • Utilize tools such as the CRM, wholesale inquiry form, various store locators, and social media to develop the California market, then additional state expansion as needed
  • Cultivate initial list of base accounts, prospect then execute on sales, partnership programs and stated goals   
  • Manage existing account acquisition, while building new business month after month  
  • Develop and contribute towards short/long-term route to market, then execute said strategy
  • Assist with qualifying and closing accounts, inbound via THC and non-M & M personnel   
  • Vet wholesale inquiries, collect necessary sales documentation, and follow process to place orders
  • Provide forecasting and reporting as needed to leadership and stakeholders
  • Track marketing product allocations
  • Build in-person and digital relationships with decision makers, management and staff
  • Work in conjunction with marketing team, to further develop educational & sales collateral
  • Provide real-time market intel via surveys, and evaluate and provide feedback on all competitive sets in both retail and on-premise accounts on a state and national level  
  • Measure, execute and deliver on quarterly KPIs
  • Provide product education to accounts and clients, as well as onboarding/product training for targeting influencers nationally 
  • Research, evaluate and solidify partnerships surrounding community engagement/events for development and implementation of brand strategy
  • Assist in the development and implementation of all marketing strategies for new and existing products
  • Utilizing customer and trend research to create innovative strategies with the goal of increasing the favorability and perceived value of the Bloom portfolio
  • Travel to ancillary markets and tradeshows as needed

Requirements: 

  • Must be at least 21 years old 
  • Must live in New York City 
  • 3 to 5+ years direct sales experience
  • In-field sales experience required
  • Proficiency and/or willingness to learn software tools such as CRM, in-field sales software, expense tracking apps, google docs, social media apps, Dropbox, etc.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication stills
  • Clean driving record
