Blockhouse Furniture, a York, PA based industry leader in contract furniture manufacturing and sales is hiring an experienced Inside or Outside Account Manager to work in our York, PA office to manage, service, and grow accounts within an assigned territory. The successful applicant will focus on acquiring additional revenue from existing clients and bring on new customers who find the value in our product offerings. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly business behaviors and sales goals focused on territory growth while maintaining a high level of customer expectations. The account manager will report to the Director of Sales. We’re looking for a customer-focused sale-oriented professional who values our company vision and is willing to learn, grow, and incrementally develop their selling skills in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Account Manager must be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial and growth mindset, be self-motivated, and results-driven to exceed sales goals. Excellent communication skills and prior sales experience closing enterprise accounts a plus. Experience in sales to the Higher-Education, Behavioral Health market is highly recommended but will train the right person. Knowledge of selling contract furniture a plus as well as knowing and understanding the behavioral health, higher-education, or healthcare markets recommended.
Compensation DOE – Base Salary + (uncapped) Commission plus reimbursed expenses.
