Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Here at Blitz, our clients are asking for more than just digital and social media platforms for their brands. They need teams that can excel and take their brands to a whole new level. THATS WHERE YOU COME IN!
As a Customer Service Representative, you will work both in the office and at our events. Duties of the Customer Service Representative include:
Office Duties Includes:
- Training sessions
- Board Meetings
- Conference calls
- Planning and organising the events
- Tracking and Ordering merchandise
- Preparing demonstrations
- Basic administration
Customer Service Representative (Events Based):
- You will be the face of our client
- Building relationships with event attendees
- Client demonstrations, presentations and promotions
- Completing sales transactions
- Dealing with customer inquiries
- Overseeing the day to day running of the event
Customer Service Representative Skills and Attributes:
The ability to work hard and have fun at the same time! A big part of you enjoying your job is the work environment and the people that you work with!
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a customer facing role. Eg, sales, retail sales, customer service, call centers, restaurants, bars or other roles involving customer interaction, although training will be provided.
The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate with have excellent time Management skills and be able to work to deadlines.
Attend training sessions as needed to progress and develop your skill set.
Customer Service Representative Development and Progression Opportunities:
Blitz prides themselves on the development and progress of their team. Ideally with training and close monitoring individuals can develop further into taking on more responsibilities over time. This may include tasks such as:
Teaching - Customer service techniques, Client Products and Sales and marketing methods to other members of the team.
Engaging - In Conference calls, Business Meetings, and Supervisions.
Advancing - Learning more about the client aspect of the Events and how we can ensure we hit our quota for the quarter.
Monitoring - The progress of other members working at the Event and report back to management on their progression.
Customer Service Representative Travel Opportunities:
Our team here at Blitz love to travel and the Director will be giving opportunities to top performers to join him on his travels to places such as Atlanta, New York, South Africa, Portugal, Bahamas and even London UK.
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age due to Independent Client and contract signing regulations.
