Join a firm dedicated to serving our community with quality and integrity. Garrett-Ihnen Civil Engineers, a subsidiary of Bleyl Engineering, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to plan and design water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects out of our north Austin office.
Responsibilities:
- Submitting permit applications for projects with multiple regulations to appropriate local, state, and federal agencies
- Design and implement plans and simulations using AutoCad/Civil 3-D
- Design land development projects
- Apply local government codes and technical design requirements
- Prepare and submit plans
- Drainage modeling and design
- Site assessments, layouts, grading and design
Requirements:
- A licensed professional civil engineer (PE) in the state of TX with 2 to 5 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Excellent organizational skills to provide proactive steps
- Meet schedules and address potential issues
- A knowledge of local requirements and procedures
- A strong work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced and productive environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to complete multi-steps tasks
- Excellent communication skills
