IT Support Engineer - Located in Orlando, FL

Let's get right to it. We're looking for someone who likes to be challenged. Someone who likes to crush tickets and make clients happy with their amazing talents. Someone who can fix an Outlook issue and "tip-up" a workstation without batting an eyelash. Someone who is motivated by growing themselves personally and professionally. Someone who is energized and inspired by working with an exceptionally strong technical team (and who likes to play with that team).

You have some skills (3-5 years of experience) and ready to show your stuff. You've touched most of these platforms: iOS, macOS and Windows (client and Server). You can admin users and and billing in Microsoft 365, because to you, it is old hat.

Behavioral Metrics (this is for real)

  • You are highly conscientious and sweat the details
  • You honestly know how to think critically
  • You'd rather work alongside others and grow, although you can tackle challenges on your own
  • Agile and Kanban methodologies are new to you (and you want to learn about them)

Education

  • If you do not have a college degree, please do not waste our time. "But I have experience," doesn't work for us. We need folks who can read, think and write at a collegiate level.

Certifications

Ideally, you take learning and growing in your career seriously. You spend the extra personal time to be "better than the other guy." Here are some certs we'd like you to have:

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) 10.14 or newer
  • CompTIA A+ (current) and Network+ (current)
  • Microsoft 365 - MS-900 Fundamentals or higher

The Grit

  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve end-user technical support issues quickly and accurately (a desktop support wizard).
  • Desktop support in iOS, macOS and Windows mixed environments.
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Understanding of networks (DHCP, DNS, etc.), and some general security knowledge.
  • Ability to organize work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow-up on assignments with little-to-no direction.
  • Know when to ask for help.
  • Experience at using Google and other online resources to query technical support symptoms, identify resolutions and resolve issues.

Daily Activities Could Include:

  • Crushing support tickets, using your technical knowledge to troubleshoot computer and end-user issues.
  • Write clear, detailed documentation.
  • Be affable and fun. No one likes a boring loner.
