Senior IT Analyst-Technical Creative Lead (FAA)

Location: Washington, DC

Status: Full-time

This position will be in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Communications (AOC) which is responsible for providing a full range of communication services to the FAA, including: video and audio production; graphic design; live events support; social media engagement; Internal and external Web content; strategic communications planning; writing.

This position is in support of a contract on which we are bidding with the FAA AOC. Any offers will be contingent on contract award.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree
•8 years of relevant experience
•Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Create and manage digital content development. This includes providing expertise in digital communications content creation and new product development using hardware and software provided by the FAA to develop graphics, video, animation, presentations, exhibit booths and signage, live events, and a range of products for a wide variety of applications aimed at both internal and external audiences, using the following hardware and software:
•Hardware:
oApple Macintosh computers operating on the latest OSX platforms
oPCs operating on the FAA's most recent Windows platform
oSpecialty hardware for content production, such as Wacom Tablets or similar devices, and
oVideo and photography production equipment
•Software:
oDigital video editing using Adobe Premiere
oDigital audio production using Adobe Audition and Logic and other audio tools
oGraphic design using all components of Adobe Creative Cloud
o2-D and 3-D animation using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D and other state-of-the-art technology

The successful candidate will provide support and management in the following areas:

Digital Video/Audio Production support:
•Provide digital video production capabilities, employing broadcast-quality production standards in coordination with existing FAA resources, in support of the communications mission of AOC
•Provide video production and editing expertise to create video, audio, and programming for inclusion in presentations, live events, FAA websites and social media platforms, and for dissemination via existing and future digital delivery platforms
•Provide support for live events taking place in the FAA auditorium, virtually, and for recorded events in the FAA studio and in other venues

Digital Content Creation/Web/Social Media Content Development Support and Management:
•Provide support for new product development, Web content creation, and graphic designs for a broad range of products, including graphic design/animation/illustration
•Provide Web content development support for AOC and other FAA organizations that is compliant with existing 508 regulations (and future ADA accessibility regulations) and required templates, which will include providing 508 compliance testing
•Provide Social Media platform content development support for AOC that is compliant with existing 508 regulations (and future ADA accessibility regulations) and required templates
•Assist AOC and FAA organizations to ensure Web and Social Media content is compliant with the FAA's Branding requirements
•Maintain currency in the latest Web and Social Media content development, social and other media trends, and electronic technologies appropriate to support employee communications and external messaging to FAA stakeholders

Digital Media Technology Support:
•Provide program management analysis to support efficient operations, using project management applications (including Smartsheet or other project collaboration and tracking tools)
•Implement effective technology solutions to accomplish the initiatives of AOC including enabling techniques for quick application of new technology and procedures
•Identify imaging needs for AOC, and assist in the coordination, creation and the act of obtaining needed photographs, graphics, illustrations or video products, and research data associated with each image or video product
•Provide metadata to ensure indexability and ease of search within the Web-based image and video Library
•Log images and video products into the database when received or created

Work Conditions:

•Work is primarily performed in an office environment
