Job Description

Position: Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for guest satisfaction by providing high levels of service, food quality and making sure the team members have a safe, productive shift. Maintain a positive attitude from the moment you walk in until the moment you lock up for the night. Uphold high levels of hospitality and food quality during entire shift and manage all guest and team member issues swiftly and properly. Assist owners, chefs, and managers with the ongoing training process of all team members. Assist in bussing, expediting, running food, restaurant maintenance, and to go orders. Work in a manner that is kind, diligent, effective, smart, and upholds the values of Black Rooster Restaurants. Remain calm and clear-headed making decisions with guests, team members, vendors and all areas regarding hospitality and Black Rooster Restaurants. Adheres to Black Rooster Restaurants Handbook and exemplifies leadership and 100% guest satisfaction.

 

The Black Rooster Manager will be proficient in all areas of the restaurant. Able to work in any position as needed. Manager, Cashier, Expeditor, Line Cook, and Prep Cook.

Kitchen experience is a must. A great opportunity for someone who has aspirations in whole house management. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing inventory, creating orders and various maintenance projects around the restaurant. 

 

 

 

Requirements: If you do not meet all 9, please do not apply

 

·      3 years restaurant experience in both the front of the house and the back of the house

·      1 year of supervisor/manager experience 

·      Work shifts in both the kitchen and the front of the house 

·      You must wear a mask at all times

·      You must be a world champion at washing your hands

·      Must have permission to work in US

·      Must work Friday, Saturday, Sunday

·      Must be able to bend over, walk, work in hot areas, carry items up to 50lbs

·      Must be ready, willing and able for ServeSafe training if not already

 

Spanish speaking not required but preferred
Salary BOE - 45k-55k

The restaurant's vibrancy is felt in both the menu and the décor. The colorful and authentic Day of the Dead themed atmosphere is highlighted with artwork from local artists, pre-loved refurbished furniture collected from the Central Florida area, and handmade tables by Chef John.

With Juliana at the creative helm, elements of their life, their experiences are brought together in a place to celebrate their mutual love of food and drink. The Calloways are excited to welcome you into an environment that evokes the memories of Mexico, South America, and their family.
