The Administrator is an operations position responsible for performing clerical duties within the Transportation department; including maintaining all regulatory compliance as required by the Department of Transportation.
Answer phones, route calls and take messages. Notify customers of late trucks. Manage a high volume of paperwork and/or data in a detailed and efficient manner. Prepare reports in support of the business. Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc. Assist with driver calls when needed and respond to delivery associate issue; provide support for resolution. Filing and maintain all required documents as required under Department of Transportation guidelines, i.e. drivers license status, Medical Examination Cards, Certificate of Violations, monitor MVR status, etc. Work effectively across departmental and organizational boundaries to align, organize, monitor and communicate all compliance initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Two (2) years experience in transportation and logistics preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Advance Excel and Word proficiency. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail. Solid organizational, analytical competencies that result in the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions. Ability to be flexible.
