Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Integrator

Join our fast-growing and energetic team to improve lives through real estate. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Integrator champions the execution of Birgo’s strategic plans and oversees the company’s operations at large with a particular focus on cross functional collaboration and company P&L execution. This role facilitates the work of the Leadership Team and Visionary to set strategic direction for the company, and execute on those plans.

• Provide leadership and management to direct reports to promote accountability 
  

• Integrate all major operating functions of the business
  

• Demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity
  

• Collaborate with the CEO/Visionary to translate vision into functional plans for the company
  

• Develop and cascade clear messaging that keeps employees informed and aligned in regard to company objectives and plans
  

• Other duties as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
  

• Complete highest priority 90-day projects that drive the mission
  

• Hit P&L targets through the effective leadership and management of direct reports
  

• Achieve fund-level performance targets, including internal rate of return (IRR)
  

• Oversee all company key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are achieved
  

• Demonstrate ongoing professional development
  

Knowledge: 

• Bachelors Degree; MBA preferred
  

• Extensive understanding of EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), financial statements, and organizational leadership
  

Experience: 

• Real estate investment & management experience (preferred)
  

• 10+ years organizational leadership experience 
  

Skills: 

• Strong, adaptive interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills (written & verbal)
  

• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  

• Excellent organizational skills and project management
  

• Advanced proficiency in people and team leadership and management
