Job Description

Job Title: Hospitality Procurement Program Manager

BirchStreet Systems provides global enterprises with multiple locations a complete Procure-to-Pay business solution deploying a SaaS model using cloud technology. BirchStreet software focuses on improving business processes by automating eProcurement, AP Automation, Inventory Control, Recipe Management, Executive Dashboards, Payments and Capital Budget Management modules. Established in 2002 headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada with offices in Newport Beach, California, Singapore, India, and the UK.

The Role: As a Hospitality Procurement Program Manager you are responsible for organizing programs and their activities to ensure major customer installations and projects are delivered on time with high degrees of customer satisfaction. Program Managers at BirchStreet Systems work closely with project sponsors, cross functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for boarding new customers. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to create and facilitate the execution of programs that will take customers from newly signed contracts through implementation and satisfied customers operating at steady-state. Success is measured by time to production and recognition of contract revenues. This role will report to our VP of Professional Services.


Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all delivery specific customer account management matters
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. KPIs, schedule actuals against budget, subscription revenue enablement)
  • Ability to influence and drive change with customer executives and working teams

Schedule Management

  • Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met
  • Organize, direct, and lead project managers implementing BirchStreet Systems' solutions
  • Formally identify, assess, monitor and mitigate risk throughout the program life cycle; obtain management approval prior to making decisions that will cause deterioration of established program, cost and schedule objectives
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedules are evident. Seek senior management assistance in resolving schedule and budget problems as they arise
  • Develop and execute program corrective action strategies
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

Account Management

  • Ability to create, collaborate, and drive alignment on account plans and strategies with customer executives; able to lead a team in executing against an account plan and strategy
  • Prioritize and maintain interrelated projects
  • Process-drive control of changes to ensure sponsor buy-in and impact assessments
  • Identify and track the most critical milestones and their dependency or impact on other projects within the Program
  • Dependency mapping of project/team dependencies and helps to communicate these within the department
  • Determine new, creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities
  • Make sound recommendations to support business decisions by analyzing metrics and other available information
  • Lead regular account reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed


  • 10+ years proven experience as a Program Manager
  • Experience in deploying ERP and Procure To Pay solutions in Hospitality, Gaming, or Food Service
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager who has successfully led large-scale implementations of complex SaaS software applications.
  • Previous stakeholder management skills
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project, SmartSheet etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • PMP Certification, Prince2, Scrum Certification, and/or Six Sigma is a plus (Project & Program)
