Scrum Master

We are hiring Scrum Master for one of our clients in Washington, DC.

Job Description:

• Needs to have some sort of relevant cert
• Will support Intake/ Enrolment team 7 Devs, testers and product team
• Will perform all scrum ceremonies.
• Moving in to SAFe environment.
• Currently follow Kanban and moving in to Scrum.
• Ideally wants someone who has Kanban and scrum exp in SAFe environment.
• Main things: Not just conducting ceremonies.
• Needs to be able to get involved with teams and handle any impediments they might be facing.
• Needs to have track record of supporting delivery teams: Devs, Testers, Analysts, etc.
• Being liaison between product owner and teams.
• Scrum Master performs all agile ceremonies, makes sure teams are successfully getting requirements from Product team, and if needed will work with Project Manager.
• Basically, a liaison between all.
• Will be on two projects (Robotics and OnBase) supporting one team.
• Coaching is done by a separate group.
• Teams are already in Kanban but teams will be moving to scrum soon so may need some coaching type of assistance then but not looking for a coach
• Good communication skills and knowledge of scrum and kanban for at least 2 years is sweet spot given the NTE.
• Some Dev knowledge is helpful.

Additional information:

• Hybrid role (They go into office once in a while).
• Duration: 12+ months
• Preference for local but will consider 100% remote cands if they are strong.
