Job Descriptions:
Primary Job Duties:

  • Contribute to the success of an application modernization project by supporting multiple Agile Scrum teams with environment support of the development environment and automation tools
  • Establish and maintain DevOps tools and processes for migrating legacy Microsoft-based applications to modern architecture
  • Establish and maintain continuous integration process within a DevOps / Agile Team
  • Deploy and coordinate the deployment of desktop and web applications in the development and test environments
  • Provide leadership regarding development tasks and implementation of infrastructure to support a modern .NET application and Oracle database architecture
Required Experience:
Required Education & Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines
  • Seven (7) years of general IT experience
  • Five (5) years of Windows system administration
Required Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Experience supporting technical environments that have included Oracle databases, desktop applications, and web-based applications utilizing Microsoft technology
  • Experience troubleshooting environment issues for Windows and/or Oracle connectivity
  • Knowledge of Jenkins and other automated build tool technology
  • Possess and utilize excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technical certification in Microsoft administration, development languages, databases, security, and/or DevOps tools
Preferred Qualifications & Certification(s):
  • Expertise in successfully automating the deployment of desktop application components through SCCM
  • Strong knowledge and experience with change management and configuration management processes and tools
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Configuration Management tools (Chef, Puppet or Ansible) and Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins preferred)
  • Experience automating testing and other code reviews through integration source control systems
  • Experience as a tester, developer, or technical analyst to provide technical insight to development activities
  • Additional certifications or training in DevOps or Agile management tools
  • Clearable for up to Public Trust
