NURSE PRACTITIONER – ACUTE CARE

• SITE OF SERVICE:  Medical Treatment Facility in the ICU department at Nellis AFB, NV.

 
RATES AND BENEFITS:NURSE PRACTITIONER – ACUTE CARE

• Hourly rate of $62.00
• 10 paid federal Holidays
• 80 hours of Vacation
• $1000.00 Sign on Bonus
   
  POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: NURSE PRACTITIONER – ACUTE CARE

• Degree: Minimum of Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), with Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.

• Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

• Certification: Certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties).

• Board Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner

• Additional Certifications: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers in accordance with the AHA,  Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate. (for example, National Certification Board of Exhibit 5-52, Version 1.4 (26 Apr 19) Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties)

• Experience: Required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years in the required clinical discipline.

• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.

• U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
