We are an Encino CPA firm specializing in business management services for clients in the entertainment industry. This full time position provides support functions and bookkeeping assistance to the account managers in the business management department, and also administrative, clerical, and organizational assistance to the entire operation of the company. This is accomplished through the following duties:
-Paying client bills, bank and credit card account reconciliations, depositing income, handling vendor problems.
-Preparing financial reports.
-Processing insurance reimbursements.
-Assisting and contributing to the smooth operation of the firm's processes and procedures.
-Bookkeeping assistance to the account managers in the business management department.
-Scanning, filing, assisting with incoming and outgoing mail, and other general office duties.
-Maintain client confidentiality.
-Other tasks as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
-QuickBooks: Minimum experience 3 years. You will be given a computerized test of your QB skills.
-Ability to multi task and be constantly interrupted yet still maintain focus.
-Attention to detail. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, extremely accurate, productive and efficient, and comfortable with financial transactions.
-Sense of Urgency: Prioritizes well, shows energy, and understands the importance of the work product.
-Education: High School diploma required, 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
-Work experience: Prior administrative, clerical, or bookkeeping experience in financial related positions.
-Communication: Must have excellent written communication skills without grammatical errors or typos. Must be able to verbally communicate clearly to other staff
