Location: 117 Kendrick Street, Needham, MA
The Credit Support Specialist Iserves as the primary liaison between the Credit and Sales Teams to ensure that loan packages are complete and documented accurately in order to complete regulatory compliance, due diligence and prepare the loan request for underwriting.
+ Responsible for reviewing loan submissions for completeness and ensures that Regulatory Compliance and Firestone Financial policy standards are met. Communicates with the Sales Team to ensure any additional documentation is obtained in a timely fashion. (40%)
+ Accurately onboards clients by completing due diligence, regulatory compliance, and reviews various reports to proactively identify any discrepancies or potential issues. (20%)
+ Manages various pipelines to ensure that logins meet the required turnaround time and assigns deals to analysts accordingly based on workflow and various other factors. (10%)
+ Accountable for ensuring that all relevant documents are uploaded in a timely fashion and in compliance for loan review and audits. (20%)
+ Provides additional support to analysts and interdepartmental teams on items such as additional documentation and assistance on any unforeseen issues. Actively works on initiatives and special projects related to process improvements. (10%)
+ With the assistance of senior analysts, is able to process draws under credit lines.
+ Upholds data input quality in all Company systems to affect timely underwriting, contract structuring and documentation, booking, and to minimize any negative impact on the borrower. Continuously monitors work to ensure quality and looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
+ Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules regulations and prescribed polices/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration. or equivalent work experience.
+ 0-1+ year credit loan administration experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
+ Strong verbal/written communication skills
+ Ability to multitask
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Customer Service and detail-oriented
+ Familiar with banking laws and regulatory compliance.
+ Salesforce knowledge is a plus
