Non-Exempt: This position will be paid on an hourly basis for all hours worked, and is considered eligible for payment of overtime pay per applicable state law.
Position in Company : This position reports to the Inventory Manager.
Objective / Purpose of the Position
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for facilitating and monitoring the availability of sufficient cannabis products for BPG customers and complying with standards for handling, storage, quality control and reporting.
Tasks / Responsibilities
Bring product to sales floor as needed
Perform Physical Inventory and Cycle Count duties
Receive and verify PO inventory
Set up, break down, clean, stock and handle cannabis products, work areas and equipment
Maintain product storage areas
Inspect, weigh and package cannabis efficiently and accurately
Ensure compliance with labeling, handling and storing standards
Enter and monitor product expiration dates
Identify and isolate imperfect cannabis products
Track sales and inventory
Prepare daily and weekly reports
Identify transaction and inventory related errors and generate error reports
Correct errors in Treez
Perform other duties as assigned
Strong attention to detail and focus
Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of MS Office, Treez and Google Docs
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze errors and propose solutions
Record-keeping and purchase order experience
Excellent customer service skills
Work efficiently independently and as part of a team
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs

Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications
HIgh School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Two (2) years relevant experience
