Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced accounting professional.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant on hands accounting experience with a strong general ledger understanding
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties

Job Duties

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• General ledger knowledge and understanding
• Review/perform bank reconciliations monthly
• Manage bank accounts, ACH/wire transactions, GL activity, floor plan transactions
• Prepare/submit sales tax returns monthly
• Calculate commissions/bonuses each payroll
• Maintain floorplan unit payments, interest payments, and new unit additions
• Review AR/AP, parts and sublet reports every two weeks for errors and aged items
• Ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
• Manage accounting clerk and receptionist
• Oversee Human Resources and all benefit plans
• Employee recruiting
• Onboarding/offboarding of employees in payroll system
• Occupational and Dealer license renewals
• Ensure compliance with all IRS regulations
• Backup for AP, AR, and payroll
• Assist Parts Department with annual inventory to ensure accuracy
• Generate reports as requested by owners
• Assist with outside audits and communicate on same to owner during process
• Communicate with owners and managers effectively in a helpful, knowledgeable manner
• Suggest improves in the accounting area for all departments
