ABOUT THE POSITION
The Sales Manager position is an office based role and will report to a Service Team Manager in the Beltsville, MD Office. The representative's main focus will be on receiving calls from customers, dispatching technicians/specialists and creating and managing weekly scheduling for periodic maintenance at our customers' sites. This position requires the individual to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain professional at all times when corresponding with our external customers and service personnel.
This position is available in our Beltsville, MD Office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives and documents service calls and emails from customers
Dispatches appropriate personnel to customer sites or assigns customer issues to be addressed remotely
Organizes and maintains files, correspondences, and records, and follows up on pending/outstanding matters
Creates work orders and maintains/updates service CMMS maintenance software
Creating reports for service management and customers as assigned
Participates in service labor meetings and coordinates service labor to meet customers' periodic maintenance requirements.
Conducts oneself with the highest level of business integrity while maintaining sensitive business information in the strictest of confidence
Assisting with any other items assigned - filing, office/service department support, etc.
High School diploma.
1+ years' experience providing customer service in the Commercial HVAC, Mechanical or Controls industries preferable
Very strong customer service skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Experience receiving service requests from customers and addressing their concerns preferred
Experience Weekly scheduling of technicians/specialists for customer Periodic Maintenance (PM) requirements and to meet service contractual obligations
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with customers and internal personnel at all times
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
Acute attention to accuracy, consistency, and a high degree of quality in work.
High level of integrity due to exposure to confidential information
