Job Description
Elizabeth's Counter, a vegan cafe and bakery, in Alexandria, VA is looking for one baker to join our strong team pastry team. We are located on 804 N. Henry St. near the Braddock street metro station. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters
- Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, donuts, fritters, or other products.
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Baker a plus
