Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and versatile Research Analyst with an academic or applied background in psychology to join our small but outstanding team. The Research Analyst does lots of number crunching, but they also liaise directly with customers and partners. The primary responsibilities are:

  • Maintenance of databases
  • Preparation of reports
  • Analysis & communication of trends
  • Presentation of research at conferences
  • Submission of studies for publication
  • Interpretation of assessment results for assessment users and candidates
  • Writing compelling articles based on research findings

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Research and the CEO to produce research write-ups and white papers
  • Develop and create relationships within the scientific/academic community
  • Liaise with clients to produce meaningful reports
  • Support customers by providing assessment interpretation
  • Support partners by providing empirical evidence to answer questions
  • Be ready to assist with other duties as necessary

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in psychology or at least 2 years of graduate coursework in psychology required (eligibility for membership in the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology is required)
  • At least 2 years of analytical experience or coursework such as math, statistics, or quantitative psychology
  • At least 2 years of experience submitting articles to conferences
  • At least 2 years of experience with research design
  • At least one published journal article
  • Skilled with statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, NCSS, etc.
  • Skilled with data visualization software such as SigmaPlot or similar packages
  • At least 2 years of experience performing statistical analyses (multivariate, categorical, nonparametric, etc.)
