Beaumont Royal Oak is a 1,100 bed major academic and referral center with Level 1 adult trauma and Level 11 pediatric trauma status. A major teaching facility, Beaumont, Royal Oak has 55 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Beaumont is the exclusive clinical partner for the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty and more than 2,100 on its medical staff.
The Beaumont Multi-Organ Transplant Center?s Kidney Transplant Program has successfully performed thousands of kidney transplants since 1972. We offer highly innovative protocols and outstanding outcomes with one year patient and graft survival rates that are the best in Michigan & among the best in the nation. We have experienced a dramatic increase in our referrals in the last 5 years and anticipate further growth.
This position requires a full-time transplant commitment. It is expected that you will spend your time carrying out your duties in a manner to enhance high-quality clinical services, promote excellence in education and training programs, establish and expand resources and demonstrate leadership. Successful candidates will be expected to become an integral part of this dynamic team and will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
Qualified candidates must be board-certified/eligible in Nephrology. The completion of an AST/ASN-accredited Renal Transplant fellowship, with clinical and research experiences is preferred.
