What you will do:
  • Enter pricing for national & strategic accounts and leverage and measure Divisions on participation, execution, and wins.
  • Create and document a structured process for how the National Accounts team and Pricing team will work together and train both teams on future processes.
  • Liaise with pricing analysts, district managers, and sales directors in the Divisions, ensuring seamless information flow and accurate evaluation of sales opportunities.
  • Assist in generating reports, creating price sheets, and other essential documents.
  • Offer insights on cost changes and suggest potential pricing or product adjustments to uplift margins in partnership with supply chain, National Account Managers, and the Divisions.
  • Develop a process in conjunction with Divisions that allows us to place more bids, enhance close-rate, and leverage bidding opportunities with active contractor customers.
  • Develop a team and serve as team lead as process capabilities of the pricing function are expanded and successfully implemented.
  • Work directly with customers to understand customer value proposition and to demonstrate any potential process gains for customers particularly in bid-flow optimization and ability to leverage Beacon's contractor network.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

What you will bring:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or other applicable area of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop process and lead via influence.
  • Experience developing and selling a vision and execute against that vision utilizing teammates and technology.
  • Proficient with a variety of the exterior building products field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financials, products, and markets with the ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to lead executive-level price discussions.
  • Preferred experience utilizing business intelligence systems to manage portfolio (Salesforce, Cognos, Tableau, and Mincron).
  • Adequate skill with Personal Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
