Must have had clinical internships, carried/facilitated a client load previously. Must have computer skills in Apple, Word, and Excel and the ability to organize space and prioritize. 30-40 hours a week.
The counseling assistant is a unique position that combines administrative duties and clinical work with patients with primary support to the office and the primary clinical assistant. The counseling assistant position manages the daily activities and business of the private practice office. The counseling assistant provides liaison between patients, clinicians, and billing; represents the office to patients, potential referral sources, and community professionals; and participates in all aspects of trainings provided to the community.
This position is specific to offering a clinical residency to learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Candidate must be willing to pay for all initial training with direct individual and group supervision by the clinical team. Multiple training opportunities to provide direct individual and group therapy to this population. Must have an interest in working with trauma and complex clinical issues. The ideal candidate will have an interest in adolescents and young adults as well as trauma, PTSD, and self-harming clients.
