Job Description

THE COMPANY

Bay Colony Search has been retained to find and hire a National Account Manager for a client that provides electrical installations and maintenance services for national retailers. They have independent contractors throughout the US to service their clients and the company has been adding to their team steadily over the last few years. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan focused on aggressively growing sales
  • Experience designing and implementing commercial service offerings based on customer needs
  • Substantial service sales experience with blue chip retail and/or restaurant clients with the ability to interface with executives
  • Transferable relationships with facilities, purchasing and operations decision makers 
  • Excellent salesmanship, communication and interpersonal skills; a supreme networker with the ability to interface with colleagues and customers at all levels, by virtue of professional competence, integrity and personal style
  • Proven track record of creating and executing high growth strategies within the business services or facility services sector
  • Work with the marketing department to develop initiatives that drive sales efforts
  • Drive flawless customer service execution, analyze the current business and implement new strategies; be the internal voice of the customer
  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with all functional areas within the retail portfolio
  • Expand our existing business and focus on ways to expand our business into new areas
  • Work internally to establish services that provide unique features and price points allowing differentiation from other channels of distribution
  • Analyze and review sales trends to identify opportunities and threats

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA a plus
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of successful recent experience selling to National Retail and Allied Accounts
  • Experience working in an electrical, HVAC, or similar service environment
  • Proven success in developing and fostering business relationships within National Retail Channels, facility services and beyond
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of the internal processes and systems that support these accounts
  • Proven business planning, budgeting, and P&L skills
  • Detailed, focused, and organized. Can work independently in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Ability to travel overnight up 20% of the time
