ABOUT THE ROLE

BaumTech is looking for an experienced technician to support its growing need for in-the-field machine service and support. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to learn quickly. Great technicians need little to no supervision in the field and can work effectively and efficiently, solving problems as they arise.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SERVICE (ATMs, as full 2nd line maintenance and modified 1st line maintenance)

• Perform all activities related to the installation and uninstallation of ATMs, including signage deployment • Repair or replace faulty equipment and parts

• Ready equipment for installs/swaps (clean, program, repair, upgrade, etc.)

• Assemble, install, and provide maintenance for digital toppers

• Provide special assistance to cash loaders, installers, programmers and service providers as directed

• Perform special operations as directed to support the success of the company

TRANSPORTATION, DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS FOR EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIAL GEAR

• Ship & receive equipment, accessories and other materials

• Replace warranty and return faulty parts

WAREHOUSING

• Manage inventory and organize equipment for new installs, repairs, and redeployments

• Ensure all necessary parts, materials, supplies and tools are readily available

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years’ experience in field service (prior ATM technician experience preferred)
• Competent with a computer and Windows applications, experience with downloading and upgrading software
• High school diploma or equivalent required, college/trade school experience preferred
• Essential functions of this position include:
  • Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
  • Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance, bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged periods of time
  • Rotating weekend on-call shifts required
  • Overtime hours expected, as needed
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
