The Outside Commercial Sales Representative is a remote / virtual position that will market Batteries Plus Bulbs in your assigned field territory as the one-stop-shop for power, charging, and lighting solutions for businesses.

We are a growing retailer with 700+ stores nationwide that also supplies battery and lighting products to small, medium, and large businesses within all industries. Can you think of any business that does not use power or lighting products? As the Outside Commercial Sales Representative in you will be driving Batteries Plus Bulbs commercial sales through prospecting and qualifying leads, creating sales proposals, conducting in-person sales presentations, and ultimately closing the sale and building long-term business relationships. Batteries Plus Bulbs offers services for businesses such as business accounts, recycling programs, on-site battery testing and needs assessments all while being helpful, trustworthy, reliable, resourceful, and passionate in providing businesses with solutions.

Competitive base salary / Full-benefits package / Generous Commissions Responsibilities: * Drive new commercial sales in a designated field territory * Generate, prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and other resourceful methods * Create sales proposals, conduct in-person sales presentations to local businesses, close the sale * Utilize CRM system, Salesforce.com, to build a sales pipeline, manage prospects, run sales reports, and manage commercial customer accounts Qualifications: * 2+ years of outside B2B commercial sales experience * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record * The ability for overnight travel, up to 50% Preferred Qualifications * Passion for business-to-business outside sales * Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating, follow up and closing the sale * Self-motivated to resourcefully generate new leads, maintaining a sales pipeline * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Experienced making presentations to small groups of employers * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred A Bit About Us: Batteries Plus Bulbs is the nation's largest and fastest-growing battery, light bulb, phone repair and key fob replacement franchise with a nationwide network of over 720 stores.
