Job Description:
The applicant will provide staff supervision, guidance and direction for assigned system development safety and evaluates and coordinates Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) system safety concepts for the Army Hypersonics Program Office (AHPO) engaged in research and development, testing, production engineering, procurement and storage of guided missiles and associated equipment to ensure safe design and procedures are incorporated in all phases of development. Provide Proffessional Engineering Advice, guidance and assistance in various stages of research, development and deployment. Direct the development of new system safety criteria and amends those which are not adequate. Assure that risk management processes are properly used during the entire life cycle of weapon systems and oversee the execution of programmatic system safety activities for supported weapon systems. Previous experience with missile systems preferred.

- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to pass a national agency check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
MS Office Programs, experience with MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-2105, MIL-STD-1901, MIL-STD-1316, TB-700-2, AR 385-16, AR 385-63, AR 385-10, AMCOM R 385-17, AR 700-142 requirements and performing Hazard Analysis (FHA, PHA, PHL, SHA, SSHA, FTA, OSH&A, etc.) and documentation. Demonstrated experience with system safety engineering processes as they relate to product development and test.
