About this role:
We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager to help support consistent growth and enhance brand equity and awareness. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and leading a team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines, changing needs, and providing leadership. This is this a senior-level role so proven experience in Marketing and developing successful teams is important.

Market and customer research for market and product requirements.
Lead NPI (new product initiatives), including product development and launch, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis, and general sales support.
Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminar and event collateral materials, and website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis.
Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation, interface with sales management and customer segments. Develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs that incorporate market-based pricing as well as value added price positioning. Develop all promotions in line with a gross margin product line analysis.
Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities, including sales forecasting of new and existing products, S&OP (sales and operations planning) as well as assisting finance in budgeting for marketing expenses, sales, general & administrative (SG&A) expenses and product related capital investment projects.
Direct and supervise in the creation and maintenance of catalogs, product specification sheets, brochures, event materials and other marketing related initiatives.
Lead, direct and co-exist with multi-functional teams including technical, engineering, distribution, finance, sales, pricing, and customer service.
Ideate, develop, and execute marketing efforts, including creative campaigns and effective product launches, that solve customer tensions, and advance our business objectives.
Lead or support promotional activities such as regional trade shows, contract negotiation, booth design, travel, press releases and media strategy, advertising, social media, and engagements with key industry influencers such as lighting designers and industry associations, etc.
Initiate relationships and communication with customers and agency partners to position Barron with maximum brand exposure.
Implementation of marketing and sales programs across sales, brand, marketing, external customers and partners.
Organize and lead Barron customer and agent training events.
Provide leadership and direction to staff and monitor performance.
Train, coach, and mentor marketing staff.
What you bring to our vision:
5 years’ Marketing experience.
5 years’ management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong computer skills and has an extensive understanding of all graphics packages including Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel, etc.
Strong writing skills and ability to adhere to brand standards.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Strong people management skills and ability to level up our content creators.
Willingness to wear many hats.
