Medical Office Manager

Barrier Islands Psychiatry is a private practice providing general psychiatry care specializing in addictions and other psychiatric disorders. The practice is actively searching for a full time office manager. This position is responsible for assisting the efficient daily operations of staff and administrative functions of new and established patients. Reporting to the Practice Manager and overseeing the day-to-day operations including scheduling, medical records, staffing, and property/facility maintenance are the primary roles.

The Office Manager will perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the Barrier Islands values.

**Requirements:**

+ Minimum Associates Degree preferred.

+ At least 2 years successful management level experience in a medical office or healthcare facility.

+ Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organization.

+ Effective speaking and writing skills.

+ Commitment to confidentiality and respect.

+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

+ Understand and embrace a customer service focus.

+ Ability to work independently, yet function collaboratively within a team
