Small Engine Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work safely at all times and adhere to applicable safety and company policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform minor to complex repairs and troubleshooting onsite and offsite with minimal supervision
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, test/verify proper operation of repairs
• Prepare and complete all job-related documents, work orders, and parts requests
• Utilize resources and databases to obtain information and provide accurate parts and warranty requests
• Operate equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates
• Consistently maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Maintain vehicle inspection records and follow company and DOT guidelines regarding vehicle usage
• Adhere to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
• Maintain all company equipment, tools, and vehicle in a good, clean, and working order
• Communicate work order progress to customer as needed, maintain clear customer records
• Maintain open communication with internal team including Service Coordinator and Service Manager
• Complete assigned jobs and tasks within established timeframes and within the reasonable expectations of Service Manager
• Project professionalism with internal and external customers, including personal appearance; may be relied upon to lend expertise on specific repairs to less experienced Mechanics
• Work overtime as required by workload
• Complete all assigned Technician training courses and safety training in a timely and proficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
