Financial Analyst

Banyan Search is assisting a growing client in their search for a Financial Analyst. Our client offers an exciting, dynamic high growth environment and it is an exciting time to join in this newly created position. The Financial Analyst will be an integral team member that will be challenged to:

• Assist in creating trend analysis and financial analyses that support strategic decisions
• Perform variance analysis between actuals and budget
• Use data management / visualization tools to create reports
• Analyze trends and key performance indicators to determine measures to improve financial results
• Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting
• Prepare presentations for executive management as needed
• Develop financial models to support analyses and projections

The Financial Analyst should have:

• 2+ years of experience in corporate FP&A environment
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or comparable degree
• MBA or CPA a plus
• ADVANCED Excel skills
• Data visualization experience – Power BI, Tableau
• Ability to work with charts, pivot tables, macros, and strong ability to create presentations and work with a large amount of data
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present results to management team
• Driven, motivated and strong critical thinking skills
