Job Description

Bank of Pontiac is seeking professional, outgoing, Human Resource Generalist. Bank of Pontiac opened its doors for business in 1947. The Human Resource Generalist will facilitate HR and payroll activities internally and partner with our outsourced HR company to support all HR functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist managers with the recruitment process to include creating job descriptions posting online positions in the ATS; screen applications; schedule interviews as directed by the hiring manager.
  • Conduct new employee orientation activities.
  • Coordinate insurance and retirement benefits with our TPA’S.
  • Partner with MidwestHR, our HR partner, to ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Enhance employee engagement and respond to employee inquiries to include employee personnel concerns, payroll, and PTO.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
  • Associate degree in Business Human Resources or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 year HR Generalist experience required. 3 years HR Generalist experience preferred.
  • 1 year web based HRIS experience.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and overall computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with all HR matters.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Business Human Resources or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 year HR Generalist experience required. 3 years HR Generalist experience preferred.
  • 1 year web based HRIS experience.
