The Small Business Card Acquisition Strategy Analyst will develop new account credit strategies and manage other key acquisition projects. The analyst will perform complex analysis aimed at approval rate and automation optimization, while managing credit risk. The analyst will develop decision/line guidance for Card and other Small Business products.
While this position has no direct people management responsibilities, it does require the ability to interact with and influence business partners both within and external to the department. This position requires being the subject matter expert on multiple business-related and technical-related topics and an ability to independently drive strategic improvements.
The analyst will use analytic methods to drive targeted results with responsibility for maintaining appropriate credit strategy controls. They will work closely with business partners including line of business lending, credit risk, product mgt, and business enablement to develop strategy, communicate changes, and drive business transformation.
Strong analytical skills are required with extensive experience manipulating large data sets using SAS which requires an ability to find, validate, and merge data from disparate data sources. This role also requires the development of custom reporting to understand strategy performance and drive strategy enhancement.
