Position Vacancy - Workshop Facilitator
Bilingual (Mandarin-English) staff developer with an early childhood background needed to collaborate on the design and implementation for two staff development days for early childhood educators in Sunset Park Brooklyn. The professional development days will provide workshops for center-based early childhood educators with the goal of increasing family engagement and supporting curriculum development utilizing a play-based approach.
Required: Proficiency in English and Mandarin Successful teaching experience in Early Childhood Experience in supervision and/or coaching classroom teachers Experience in facilitating group discussions and/or professional development Experience in a progressive education setting Master(s) degree in education or related field Ability to provide professional development to NYC DOE sitesPreferred: Doctorate in education or related field Leadership experience in early childhood
