We are looking for an HVAC Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
- Install new heating, ventilation, and a noir conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

Hours: 40 hours per week
Wage: $22-$30/hour depending on experience

Perform mechanical duties for the installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment. Perform maintenance and routine servicing of equipment. Operate specialized equipment and tools utilized in the repair, installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Work independently with little direction. Meet schedules and project timelines. Routinely lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
We focus on all-electric systems and heat pumps, routinely swapping gas-fired furnaces for efficient heat pumps for heating and cooling. Mini-split installs, HRVs and hydronic systems. We do retrofit and new construction. We’re focusing on home electrification and efficiency upgrades.
Install new HVAC systems in residential buildings
Refrigeration piping, low-voltage controls work, hydronic piping
Limited sheet metal work
Install ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system
Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units
Install replacement parts on existing HVAC units
Comply with company and industry safety standards
Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge of Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to use power and hand tools.
Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems.
Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
Ability to follow instructions.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.
Maintain a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to transport self to and from job locations within 50 miles of home
Must be comfortable working independently
Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
Two years of documentable HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance and repair experience in the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
