Position Summary

A Systems Administrator coordinates, supports and delivers IT services to ensure the company's strategic objectives met and support regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities

A Systems Administrator would be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Adheres to and demonstrates the company's core values
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of all implemented applications
  • Maintains, supports, upgrades and troubleshoots Servers, PCs, networks, and printer problems
  • Collaborates with IT leadership to create plans and objectives that support the company's vision
  • Manages and maintains positive working relationships with IT service providers
  • Suggests updates to internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Establishes and supports a positive work environment based on honesty, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Remains current with changing technology and software tools applicable to the company systems
  • Identifies or confirms business requirements for new technology implementations
  • Documents and shares system changes and troubleshooting procedures

Position Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with laptop and desktop hardware and Windows based systems. Experience should include personal computers, servers, and peripheral hardware. Familiarity with Office 365, 3rd party software, email, and web technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced technical team environment.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, or related IT Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+)

  • Knowledge of Network optimization, Firewalls, Access Points, Virtual Machines

  • Server Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and up) Outstanding customer service skills and rapport.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prioritize and Process user request tickets in a fast-paced environment
  • Resolve problems using established processes, and best practice research
  • Document all support issues in the ticketing system
  • Possess a strong understanding of the systems and architecture in use
  • Identify and route tickets requiring higher level escalation
  • Empower Bailey staff by answering questions, interpreting instructions and providing online documentation
  • Configures computers: build/rebuild
  • Maintain and enforce corporate hardware, software, and security policies
  • Ability to lift to 10 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Requires sitting for long periods in an office environment and/or working on a computer with or without reasonable accommodations
