Warehouse Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises and assists activities in a warehouse environment including the movement of materials from warehouse to production, and finished goods from production to warehouse. Helps conduct inventory cycle counts for items is warehouse, works with Shipping & Receiving Manager assisting in movement of materials from Receiving Docks t Warehouse and from Warehouse to Shipping Docks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Warehouse

1. Coordinates the transfer of materials & goods between receiving the warehouse, and the production floor.
2. Assists in the staging of pallets in warehouse keeping common components together by customer common racks.
3. Coordinates with Project Managers and customers disposition of rejects goods or materials returned by production to the warehouse.
4. Conducts physical inventory and cycle counts for customer & Brisar owned inventory.
5. Assists in the supply of materials to the production floor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Two or more years of work-related experience.
2. Ability to drive a fork lift truck.
3. Knowledge of raw materials, shipping, receiving & warehouse systems and procedures.
4. Ability to use material handling equipment and handle items such as; power and manual pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, drums, pallets, corrugated boxes and other materials commonly found in a warehouse environment.
5. Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner, work in a fast paced, busy environment and follow instructions.
6. Experience with computerized inventory systems a plus.
