Manage branding and strategic initiatives for key global markets, working in partnership with franchise partners, cross-functional Global teams (Operations, New Market Development, Training, Culinary, Supply Chain, Finance) and with US Brand Strategy team. This critical role promotes and safeguards the connective framework of the Chili's brand in each respective market, driving traffic, relevance and positioning for growth.
Develop marketing strategies that leverage and reinforce brand strengths to drive traffic, grow short-term sales and long-term brand value in the responsible regions.
Provide on-going marketing consultation to Global Franchise Partners via financial/data analysis and strategic insights translated into successful marketing programs.
Prioritize projects and manage deliverables that are aligned with achieving global KPIs.
Ensure brand marketing strategies are executed in-line with Chili's brand equities.
Manage third-party vendors/agency partners for creative and media development.
Responsible for managing co-op marketing budgets (where available) and Marketing Budget.
What You Bring to the Team
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Management or Marketing; MBA highly preferred.
5-7 years of consumer facing, progressive brand marketing experience within the Restaurant, Casual Dining category; background in CPG and/or franchisee network preferred.
Knowledge of international markets - either from work experience or from residing in region.
Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, second language a plus. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes, in a clear and concise manner, to leadership and cross-functional teams. Consistently uses communication / presentation skills to influence outcomes, without direct authority, to get things done in a timely fashion.
Strategic and Creative Thinking: Think holistically, strategically to problem-solve and drive towards resolution creatively; able to write focused briefs, evaluate creative against big picture strategies.
Business and Financial Acumen: Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills. Be able to identify actionable insights, develop strategies and translate them into effective marketing programs. Skill includes understanding and experience with quantitative/qualitative research.
Marketing Acumen: Experience leading strategic communication channels (e.g., digital/social, menu/print, etc.), with the ability to interpret and modify media plans. Robust experience in selection and management of external supplier partners is key - Research, Advertising, Creative, PR, Digital, Social Media and activation based agencies.
Project and Process Management: Manage time and budget effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively build relationships, collaborate and influence across the business with a variety of stakeholders, cultural backgrounds, expertise & experiences.
Self-starter with High Energy Level: Ability to work independently and equally skilled to collaborate in a team, rallying the group to deliver results. Strong attention to detail.
- Arabic or Mandarin language skills a plus
